Our way of working

We work closely with three main groups of staff in planning and conducting projects:

• Members of the other Teaching and Learning Support (TLS) portfolio, Staff College (SC) and VU College (VUC) - most of our projects involve staff from other centres in reference groups and in project teams.
• Members of the Research into Tertiary Education (RiTE) network - most of our projects also involve members of the RiTE group in reference groups and in project teams.
• Other members of Victoria University staff - PEC approaches members of staff with particular expertise to become members of reference groups and/or project teams for some of our projects.

In addition, PEC works closely with higher education academics and TAFE teachers in supporting practitioner-led research and the scholarship of learning and teaching.

As well as working with associates from these constituencies within the University, PEC works actively to establish partnerships with groups outside the University.
