SHORT COURSE UPDATE

Term enrolments 
This is where you can find out the latest information on our Short Courses. Please down load a copy of our Short Course Summary Brochure for all the latest details.

 

We still have vacancies in a number of Term 2 programs:

 

Bricklaying - Starts Thursday May 22 at the Newport Campus

Automotive - Vehicle Body Painting - Starts Friday May 16 at the Newport Campus

Rolling enrolments
Several of our short courses are able to accommodate rolling enrolments, meaning that students can start whenever they like and the program is not dependent on minimum numbers. These courses include:

  • Applied Design in Industry (Furniture) - Newport - Ongoing enrolments.
  • Furniture Studies (Cabinet Making) - Newport - Ongoing enrolments.
  • Sign Writing - Sunshine - ongoing enrolment

NEW PROGRAMS FOR 2008 - 2009

Victoria University continues to expand pathways for senior secondary students in the region.
Below are some of the new courses available this year. Please refer to our Program Summaries and Learning Pathways Page for more details.

VU LIBRARY ACCESS FOR SCHOOL TEACHERS

Don’t forget that VCE / VET secondary school teachers can borrow from the VU libraries at all our campuses.

 

Teachers need to complete an Application for Library Membership form. Schools are able to act as guarantor so there is no fee applicable for this service. For additional information contact the library information desk on 9919 4271.

CERTIFICATE IV IN TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT (TAA40104)

Teachers who deliver VET in Schools programs need to have obtained their Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. For additional information on gaining the full qualification at Victoria University, please click here.

 

Our next dates for the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment will be in December 2008.
