Design and Development of New Facilities

The Educational Technology Support Unit provides advice in the design and development of new educational technology facilities and the upgrade of existing educational technology facilities. This support includes:

• Advice on the layout of teaching spaces and meeting rooms.
• Design of presentation facilities including writing surfaces, projection surfaces, data projection/display facilities, audio and video replay facilities, conferencing etc.
• Coordination with builders, architects, suppliers and contractors.
• Room lighting advice.

Our experience and expertise enables us to liaise with the users of spaces in such a way that we may mutually develop design solutions that maximise the teaching and learning functionality of given spaces.
