Vice-Chancellor's Awards 2007
Victoria University aims to involve its staff in a creative and rewarding learning community
for the benefit of both students and staff. The Vice¬-Chancellor's Awards scheme, which recognises
staff excellence and achievements, is an important way of promoting this involvement. This year the
Vice-Chancellor's Award scheme has been revised and expanded so that it more effectively recognises
and rewards staff achievement for the breadth and variety of activities and services provided across
the University and beyond. The existing suite of Vice Chancellor's Excellence Awards for Research and
Research Training has been included within the new award scheme to establish a single recognised formal
hierarchy of the Vice-Chancellor's Staff Awards. Those who receive Vice Chancellor's awards work in a
large variety of roles throughout the University - in TAFE and Higher Education - in teaching, research,
administration and support roles. What they have in common is that they provide an exemplary level of
commitment and achievement in their roles and help to enhance the VU experience.
We acknowledge and celebrate their achievements.
