Vice Chancellor's Awards 2007

VC announces applications in the following categories will remain open to staff in the VE faculties and VU College until Friday October 5:

  • Contribution to Student Learning
  • Programs that Enhance Student Learning
  • Outstanding Engagement

All VE and FE staff are invited to consider making an application under either of these headings. Support for preparing applications is available from the Staff College.

Launch of Awards – Nominations Open

22 June

Nominations Close
You may self-nominate or nominate a colleague. The recommended closing date for nominations is 22 June 2007. After this date, nominees will be informed of their nomination and invited to submit an application as per the submission requirements. Nominations received after this date will still be accepted, but this will reduce the time available for applicants to prepare their submissions.

Late June – mid August

VC's Awards Workshops
These workshops will cover all campuses. See PD Online to book in. Early workshops will provide introductory information regarding the award categories. Later workshops will focus on specific award categories.

20 August

Applications close – all submissions to be at Newport, Staff College

3 – 14 September

VC's Awards Selection Panels will convene

21 September

4 October

A full day writing workshop will be conducted on Thursday 4 October 2007. Applicants are invited to bring their drafts to the workshop. The aim of the workshop is to provide editorial assistance and advice.

 

Venue: Blue Room, Newport Campus, 10 am - 3pm.

Closing date for Round 2 applications in the categories of Contribution to Student Learning, Programs that Enhance Student Learning and Outstanding Engagement.

 

All submissions to be delivered to Staff College, Newport Campus.
