The Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education

The Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education was established in 2004 as a national focus for the enhancement of learning and teaching in Australian higher education providers.

One of the significant functions of the Carrick Institute is to provide funding to recognise outstanding practice, and to enable staff to further develop practice standards and resources.

Funding is offered through:
  • Awards and Citations
  • Grants
  • Fellowships
Staff in the Higher Education sector of Victoria University are encouraged, and offered support, to apply for the awards, grants and fellowships offered through the Carrick Institute. Through these, staff may gain recognition for their ongoing and outstanding teaching and learning practices and augment the resources required to continue their personal and professional development.

Full information can be found at the The Carrick Institute for Learning and Teaching in Higher Education home page, or by contacting Felicity Prentice, Staff College, x 8356.
