The Quality Teaching & Innovation Unit (QTIU) is one of five units in the staff College. Our particular brief is to support teaching staff to develop processes and systems for quality teaching and learning.
We see professional development as a collaborative activity – it is not restricted to workshops and seminars and other formal events, but it is also about supporting the development of educational processes by working with teachers and the staff who support them. This can involve participation in committees, project teams, research groups and any other activities that teachers undertake in their day-to-day work.
The purpose of this newsletter is to let teachers and those who support them know about planned activities that QTIU staff are involved in over the next month. We welcome input from you.
