Staff College (SC)

The Staff College (SC) recognises the significance of innovation in teaching and learning. This innovation and its encouragement are vital to the health and development of the University, particularly in response to social and educational change. Staff College staff support and develop the capability of University staff through:

• Recognition and reward of good practice
• Development of effective tools for the evaluation of quality teaching and learning
• The provision of curriculum design, accreditation, articulation and pathways services to the University
• Coordination and support of curriculum development including the CMM function
• The provision of support to teachers and academics in flexible and student centred delivery strategies and innovative learning materials
• Coordinating the development of the educational support 'tools' of the University - teaching infrastructure and educational technology, and digital learning design and capability building.
• Providing consultancy services to internal and external clients for its services and products.
• The University's Staff College providing innovative programs to meet VU's staff learning and career development needs.

The Staff College consists of 7 units:
