The Australian Government recently provided funding support for higher education providers in the form of fifteen competitive grants for projects to assist the development of best practice models for offshore delivery and to strengthen their quality assurance processes for offshore delivery.

The Australian Vice-Chancellors' Committee (AVCC) managed the grant allocation process in collaboration with DEST. A selection committee comprising two AVCC nominees and two DEST nominees met and assessed applications and selected fifteen projects.

Fiona Henderson and Julie Dixon of Student Learning Services at Victoria University were amongst the successful grant applicants.
