The Teaching & Learning portfolio at Victoria University (VU) has been restructured. The portfolio is now comprised of the Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor Teaching & Learning and the Centre for Innovation in Learning & Teaching.

Office of the Pro-Vice Chancellor Teaching & Learning

Professor Greg Baxter is the Pro-Vice Chancellor (PVC) Teaching & Learning. The PVC has responsibility for all aspects of teaching and learning at VU and is a member of VU's senior management team.

Centre for Innovation in Learning & Teaching (CILT)

CILT provides strategic teaching and learning support to the VU community. Professor Ian Macdonald is the Director of CILT and Ms Trish McCluskey is the Deputy Director.

The main activities of CILT are:

Cert IV, Diploma and Graduate Certificate in VET Grad. Cert. in Tertiary Education Faculty-based PD Secondments Awards & Grants ALTC Awards, Grants & Fellowships Induction Collaborative Research Group -Learning in the Workplace & Community Curriculum development and accreditation Postcompulsory Education and Research Learning in the workplace Quality Teaching and Innovation
