SESSION TITLE USE OF JOURNALS IN REFLECTIVE LEARNING
  Undergraduate HRM students were asked to keep diaries, examining and reflecting upon their listening, assertiveness, intercultural communication and self-awareness skills. Evidence was found that students applied theory to practice, consequently demonstrating in their reflections a development of self-awareness, listening and assertiveness skills with a subsequent preparedness for lifelong learning.

  Penny Bassett and Raquel Licciardi have been lecturers in the School of Management, Victoria University, since the late1980’s, teaching and coordinating undergraduate and postgraduate courses and subjects, mainly in human resource management.
