Student experience strategy

The term 'student experience' is wide ranging and influenced by a complex variety of factors including:

  • Quality of learning and teaching
  • Access to support services
  • Social opportunities and spaces
  • Opportunities for personal and career related development
  • Connections between students, as well as students and staff
  • Learning spaces and places
  • Ease of key student transactions

In 2009, VU Council endorsed the Student Experience Strategy (SES) for implementation from 2009 - 2011. The Action Framework within the SES comprises 53 actions, aligned with six Guiding Principles of Making VU's Commitment 3 Project.
