The creation of a supportive, welcoming and uncritical learning environment where diversity is valued underpins student achievement. Ann has collaborated with other program leaders, forged links with relevant organisations in the region and liaised with community leaders to improve her understanding this group. As Course Co-ordinator, Ann has led the establishment of a community of practice to encourage a consultative and collaborative approach to teaching in her field.
