The School of Learning Support Services
Learning Support Services (LSS) assists Victoria University (VU) in meeting its strategic priorities for students. It consists of three units which work closely together to provide effective support across all sectors of the university. These units consist of:
- The Student Learning Support Centre (SLSC) – providing support to FE students
- Concurrent Assistance (CA) – support for VE students
- Student Learning Unit (SLU) – support for HE students
The aim of the LSS is to bring all of these units together so that the support offered (in English language, academic skills and maths) is seamlessly cross-sectoral and totally relevant. The LSS collaborates with Faculty and School staff to develop strategies to enhance student learning and students’ abilities to deal with the demands of tertiary education and learning tasks.
